biometrics done, documents mailed off...
well that was a bit of an ordeal.
I'm lucky to live near an Application Support Centre run by USCIS, but it was still a bit of a drive and I'd worked myself into a bit of a state by the time I got there. Rationally, I know I've done everything correctly and there's no reason (that I know of) I should be denied, but it's hard not to worry.
The people at the ASC did seem a bit confused by my dual citizenship at first, but they were able to confirm my information and collect my biometrics. All good.
And then she tried to send me on my way.
But wait! What about the document I printed that specifically says it has to be signed at my appointment by an officer?
Well, she refused. Pointed me to the exit. I tried again. Got directed to the exit again. Figured there wasn't much to be gained by arguing with an officer in a government office, so I left.
It took less than 10 minutes all in all, and then I proceeded to spend about 40 minutes sitting in the car frantically trying to work out if my application is doomed without this signature.
Anyway. According to just about every single reddit post on the topic posted in the last 5 years (and yes I read them all), USCIS won't even touch those extra documents, despite the fact the text explicitly says it needs to be signed and submitted with the application. 🤷🏻♀️
So with nothing else left to do, I drove all the way back to [redacted], stumbled into my local shipping centre and — somewhat hysterically — presented my pile of unsigned papers, passports, and shipping labels to be packed up and posted to New York.
And now...
we wait.

💥💰 Revealed: The Secret Empire of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and Morgans 💰💥
Prepare to uncover the shocking truth about the world's most influential families and their iron grip on the global economy. The Federal Reserve Cartel, comprised of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and Morgans, holds unparalleled power that extends far beyond the realm of oil.
Picture this: The Four Horsemen of Banking, including Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo, join forces with the Four Horsemen of Oil, such as Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, BP, and Chevron Texaco. But their domination doesn't stop there. They have extended their reach to encompass the music industry through an intricate network of private banks. These behemoths, along with Deutsche Bank, BNP, Barclays, and other European old money giants, control the strings of the music industry, enabling them to dictate its direction and influence.
The nefarious deeds of the Rockefeller dynasty are far-reaching, starting with their military-commercialization of music in the early 1900s. They orchestrated a diabolical plan to shift the world's standard tuning of music to 440 pitch. This insidious frequency was known to provoke greater aggression, psychosocial agitation, emotional distress, and even physical illnesses. Behind the scenes, this manipulation led to financial gains for those complicit in the monopoly, including agents, agencies, and companies connected to the North American Rockefeller crime cartel and elite organizations.
Fast forward to the late 1980s, when the Rockefellers summoned the top music executives and talent to a highly secretive meeting in Los Angeles. Their sinister agenda? To usher in the era of Controlled Rap Music, tightly linked to the privatization of U.S. prisons. These privately owned prisons, operated by the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Bush family, and other influential figures, served as money laundering operations, tax exemption schemes, and pyramid scheme operations.
The Rockefellers devised a cunning plan to control the rap industry and target black communities by promoting violent music that fueled oppression and civil unrest. They brought together top executives and leading black artists, binding them with confidentiality agreements. Their objective was clear: coordinate the violence within the rap music movement, while major record labels gained exclusive rights for production and distribution across the United States. As a reward, they would receive shares and points within the private prison systems.
The Masonic plan unfolded with precision, resulting in over 1,500 private prison systems housing more than 1 million black teenagers by 1990. These vulnerable youths, expressing the generational trauma imposed upon them, unknowingly contributed to the Rockefellers' malevolent scheme. The private prison systems reaped billions annually from the government, creating a vast money laundering network through inflated products, such as ramen noodles priced 8 times higher than their actual value. The flow of hundreds of billions from government funding, pyramid schemes, and insurance companies transformed the privatization of prisons into a multi-trillion-dollar venture.
Local courts and judges mercilessly sentenced petty criminals and first-time offenders, filling the ever-expanding private prisons. As a result, the United States now holds the dubious record for the highest number of incarcerated individuals in the world, with an unprecedented number of prisons. This was not an accident—it was a meticulously orchestrated plan by the Rockefellers.
But their influence doesn't end there. These silent thieves also manipulate elections, ensuring their grip on power remains unbroken.
Unmasking the true face of those who control the world, the Rothschilds and Rockefellers find themselves in the crosshairs of military alliance operations aimed at dismantling the Rothschilds' deep state power in Europe, the UK, Russia, and China.

Happy Birthday Scottish actor Mark Bonnar
Born November 19th 1968 in Edinburgh, Bonnar started his acting career in High School at Leith Academy, he recalls sitting with his friend one day when the names of all the award winners were read out, Mark says
"....I remember I was sitting in front of my best mate Keith, They were all the usual studious types. I turned to Keith to say 'it's all the posh and clever ones who win the prizes' and then my name was read out. I took a lot of ribbing about that."
After being talked out of doing a Drama course at school by his guidance teacher, doing physics instead, Mark left school with no real qualifications, and like many of us back then ended up doing a YTS, or youth training scheme to those that don't know. He worked in a library for two years, the beautiful building on McDonald Road in Edinburgh, before drifting in and out of other jobs and spending some time travelling in the US before the money ran out.
He returned home to the old job, this time driving the mobile library, but got bored of it and ended up in the planning offices of Edinburgh council before deciding to do a year's National Certificate in drama at Telford College and this time completed his course.
He then did three years at Glasgow's Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. In his final year, he won the Carlton Hobbs BBC Radio Award, which gave him six months with BBC Radio in London, where he's lived ever since.
The keen eyed of you out there will recognise a link to the other birthday boy today, as Mark plays regular Duncan Hunter in Shetland, Duncan is the biological father to Jimmie Perez's "daughter" Cassie.
Bonnar has appeared on many shows on television as Peter Mayhew in BBC1's New Blood and Chris in the highly successful Channel 4 comedy Catastrophe, alongside screen wife and fellow Scot Ashley Jensen.
Other television credits include Vera, Rebus, Taggart, Grantchester, Case Histories, The Paradise, Doctor Who, Psychoville, Taggart, Phoneshop and Paradox. He also played regular Bruno Jenkins in the 23 episodes of the BBC1 series Casualty and DCC Mike Dryden in the brilliant cop show Line of Duty.
Mark has also voiced video games, Assassins Creed and Battlefield one and children's tv show series Tree Fu Tom.
Also a regular on the theatre front where he has played Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and the lead role in Cyrano de Bergerac. On Radio his most prolific part was in a Piper Alpha, the play chronicles the disaster minute-by-minute as it happened.
One of Mark's more recent shows was Guilt, set in my native Edinburgh it was a dark comedy about two brothers who accidentally run over and kill an old man, if you haven't seen it please look it up! He was also in the mini series Quiz about Charles Ingram, who was convicted of cheating his way to the jackpot in Who wants to be a Millionaire.
As with his friend Dougie Henshall, Markis set to appear in the TV movie Murder is easy, he ahs also been in a short TV "movie" Calamity James nd appeared in five episodes of the drama World on Fire and starred n the Ridley Scott biopc Napolean that is due to be released next week.

Reeves to push for UK-EU reset at finance ministers’ meeting
Chancellor Rachel Reeves will tell EU finance leaders on Monday that a closer relationship between the UK and the EU will boost economic growth. It will be the British chancellor’s first speech to the Eurogroup since Brexit.
Labour has repeatedly ruled out rejoining the trading bloc, but has said it wants the UK to “deepen ties”with the EU.
Last week, a new report by the Resolution Foundation said Brexit had created a trade gap between the UK’s struggling goods-producing sectors and its powerful services industry. The threat of tariffs on goods by President-elect Trump risks “further widening this trade gap.”
Reducing trade barriers between the UK and the European Union will improve growth prospects for both sides, Finance Minister Rachel Reeves will tell her eurozone counterparts on Monday when she meets the group for the first time.
Britain’s Labour Party government has sought to reset relations with the EU since coming to power in July and improve trade ties in a bid to boost economic growth. Labour argues that previous Conservative governments damaged relations with the EU during tense negotiations to leave the bloc, and Reeves’ appearance at the so-called “Eurogroup” will be the first for a British finance minister since Brexit.
“I believe a closer economic relationship between the UK and the EU is not a zero-sum game. It’s about improving growth prospects for both of us,” Reeves will tell eurozone finance ministers, according to extracts from her speech.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer is seeking to cut border checks by agreeing a new veterinary agreement, but has promised no return to the EU single market or customs union and ruled out any return to freedom of movement. Meanwhile, the EU is demanding improvements to the youth mobility scheme and both sides recognise that the negotiations, expected to begin next year, will not be straightforward.
Despite these differences, Reeves said negotiations with the EU could be productive and would not be defined by the “division and chaos” of the past few years.

The youth brain drain is one of the biggest problems in Western Balkan countries, with some predicting that up to half of the skilled and educated young population may leave these countries in the next decades.
A research report published on Monday, Migration and Brain Drain – Comparative Analysis of Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia, shows that young people leave these countries not only because of low salaries and economic issues but also because of corruption, crime, political instability and lack of security.
The report was published as a part of the Regional Youth Leadership Mobility Programme, which is a collaboration between the Centre for Science and Innovation for Development, the Youth Educational Forum from North Macedonia, and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights from Serbia.
The paper focuses on how to attract young migrants back to their home countries.
Respondents in Serbia and North Macedonia voiced pessimism about the possibility of returning, but family ties remained a strong motive for doing so. Youngsters in Albania expressed similar reasons for staying in Albania, such as strong family ties and the desire to contribute to the country’s development.
Natalija Zunic, a graduate student at the Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences and co-author of the report, told BIRN that one of the main recommendations they highlighted is better advertising and recognition of support programmes offered by government and non-governmental organisations that address migrants who want to return home.
“The biggest thing we noticed is the very low representation of programmes to support migrants who return. They exist, but 80 of our respondents were not aware that they exist, she said.
Many of these schemes offer the same support that potential returnees seek, such as support for establishing of new businesses with the capital they earned in foreign countries.
But one problem noted in Serbia is that the state no longer recognises the young people who left as an integral part of the state. “When they come back, they no longer have a sense of their home state because it doesn’t treat them like that,” Zunic said.
It is mainly young and skilled individuals that are leaving Serbia. The average age of emigrants is 28.7 years, compared to the national average age of 42.2 years.
A survey conducted by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy revealed that 64.5 per cent of Serbian youth would emigrate if given the chance. Their main reasons include securing a better future (22.7 per cent), higher salaries (20.1 per cent), and a higher living standard (19.6 per cent).
One is five emigrants also leaves with their entire family, indicating permanent departure.
North Macedonia, with its small population, is also facing significant emigration. The 2021 census highlighted a loss of 200,000 inhabitants compared to the 2002 census, as the population decreased from around 2 million to 1.8 million. This decline is primarily attributed to migration rather than a low birth rate.
Data in Albania shows that there is also a mismatch between educational programmes and labour market demands, which contributes to the brain-drain. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that few young people don’t have the opportunity to join quality internships.
Results of a survey conducted in Serbia show that students who gained internship experience are often not satisfied with its quality, citing another report with the same project, The Role of Career Counselling and Internship Programmes in Facilitating Students’ Transition from University to Workspace.
Participants without internship experience criticized career counselling offices for inconsistent availability and perceived rude attitudes, particularly in public universities.
Isidora Petkovic, a student of the Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences and co-author of the report, told BIRN that when young people go to an internship, they “do everything except their job”, explaining that this includes some side office duties.
The solution for that is better mentoring and leadership, “someone who would guide them from the very beginning to the end of the internship”, she said, adding that it’s also hard to get an internship, for which you usually need “good connections”.

UK to give in to EU demands for greater access to fisheries, freedom of movement
Britain will have to cave into EU demands for greater access to fishing and freedom of movement in return for closer trade ties, Daily Mail reports.
During a visit to Brussels, Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves was told that increased access to UK waters for EU trawlers and a youth mobility scheme would be “on the table” in future negotiations.
It came ahead of a summit with EU finance ministers, making Ms. Reeves the first British chancellor to attend such a meeting since the UK left the bloc almost five years ago.
Her presence was meant to be a statement of intent: the Chancellor joined the group of Cabinet ministers who have been pushing hardest for a “reset” of relations with the bloc. She told them that “breaking down trade barriers” would be a key objective of future negotiations to boost economic growth on both sides of the Channel.
Speaking to them, she added:
“In the long-run, Brexit is expected to cause UK trade intensity to fall by 15 per cent. And with goods exports between both the UK and EU continuing to remain below 2018 levels, this is impacting UK and EU economies alike. And so, the reset in relations is about doing what is in the best interests of our shared economies.”
However, ahead of the summit, Spain’s economy and trade minister Carlos Cuerpo Caballero warned that there would be a price to pay for greater market access.
Asked whether increased access to UK fishing waters would be a “red line,” he said:
“There is an element of common understanding that there’s a win-win situation of going further in this relationship between both parties. And we need to engage…on what would be the next steps towards getting back as much as possible to where we were [before Brexit] in terms of those financial economics and trade ties. It’s of course agriculture, it’s of course fisheries, it’s of course migration as well. There are many elements on the table that we will need to discuss.”
Asked whether the youth mobility scheme was also a red line, he added:
“Well, that’s an important element from the EU side we want to put on the table. And that’s one of the areas where I think there is greater value added, also for the UK, to engage constructively.”
UK ministers fear that the youth mobility scheme, which would allow young people from EU countries to live and work in the UK for a certain period, would be seen by Labour as a return of a form of free movement.
And Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has warned it would lead to a rise in net migration at a time when it is already at near-record levels. But Ms. Reeves appeared to leave the door open to a pact, telling a press conference after the summit that ministers ruled out a return to “free movement of labour.” This suggests the government is open to a return to other forms of free movement.
Labour’s election manifesto was not so unequivocal, it simply ruled out a return to “freedom of movement.” Ms. Reeves reiterated the government’s position that Britain would not join the EU’s single market or customs union. But she refused to outline her “red lines” for closer trade ties, insisting yesterday’s meeting was “not about starting negotiations” or “making a series of demands.”
It was about “preliminary work to rebuild trust and relations” and “drawing a line” under the “divisiveness and antagonism” of Brexit, she told a press conference after the summit. More detailed negotiations will begin next year, she added.
Privately, EU diplomats have complained that British ministers have been evasive in telling them exactly what they are seeking. And there is frustration in Brussels at the UK’s failure to so far embrace proposals for a youth mobility scheme.
Labour’s manifesto promised a new veterinary agreement to reduce barriers to food trade, as well as pushing for mutual recognition of professional qualifications. But Brexiteers fear it will entail bringing the UK into line with EU rules and recognising the role of the European Court of Justice in resolving disputes.
Alex Burghart MP, shadow chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster for the Tory party, said:
“It looks like Labour’s plan is to follow EU rules for nothing in return. If the Chancellor wants to improve growth and trade, she should learn the lesson that clobbering businesses with high taxes and unleashing borrowing sprees will make our country less attractive, not more.”

In many ways, ditto in so-called Australia.
Aus has a deep dark history of ‘blackbirding’ (i.e. slavery) where white colonisers kidnapped people from nearby Pacific islands and forced them to work the fields.
The kidnapping doesn’t happen anymore. Instead, we have the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme where workers from surrounding South East Asian and Pacific island nations come work in Australia – normally in the fields.
Workers under the PALM scheme are technically afforded the same rights as every other worker in Australia but agricultural employers rely on PALM scheme workers’ lack of knowledge about their rights and their vulnerable position to exploit them.
Even if you’re a locally born worker, agriculture is a notorious industry. It’s so bad that in 2013 the government body in charge of enforcing labour laws went on a Harvest Trail inquiry and recovered $1million AUD. But over a decade later, the only thing they’ve really done about it is create a new website?? A lot of these farms are remote and so rely on lack of oversight to get away with ongoing exploitation.
Which is why during covid lockdowns, it was an absolute joke that the government tried to get city based youth into fruit picking jobs when those jobs are so well known for being back-breaking and underpaid.
Labour laws and their enforceability suck here – but it’s particularly bad in agriculture.
kill the rhetoric that americans are so lazy that they won't take farm jobs. americans take labor intensive jobs all the time. the reason no americans will take farm jobs is because agricultural work is exempt from the vast majority of labor laws and labor protections, including the use of child labor. so only immigrants - people who have little to no protection from the law or other options for work - take most of these jobs. we have created a permanent underclass of labor and then say that americans are just lazy for not volunteering to be part of the underclass.
there are actually good discussions to be had about how alienated many americans are from food production (hi hello that's what my only popular post is about), but the real solution to this problem is to protect agricultural workers, citizens or not. ban child labor in its entirety. punish corporations and farm owners that abuse and poison their workers. reform the immigration process so that these people aren't barred from legal protection and recourse.
agricultural workers have been exploited since the dawn of civilization, but the US in specific has been doing this since slavery, and it evolved in the 30s when FDR's labor laws excluded them specifically because most agricultural workers at the time were black. now it's mostly latino immigrants.
food doesn't fucking pick or slaughter itself. but citizens aren't going to take these jobs when the entire industry is rife with abuse - both legal and illegal - and horrific wages and working conditions.
